On November 6, the Concentrated Contract Signing Ceremony for International Procurement Projects of the CSSC （China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited）Delegation at the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center.

At the contract signing ceremony, 11 secondary-level management units under CSSC signed 35 projects in a concentrated manner with 24 international supply chain partners from 13 countries and regions. The products cover various types of important supporting equipment such as marine main engines, generators, communication and navigation systems, liquid cargo systems, and monitoring and alarm systems. The total contract value reaches 610 million US dollars, representing a 9% increase compared with the 7th CIIE (China International Import Expo).

CSSC is an active participant in all previous CIIEs and a firm practitioner of trade liberalization and economic globalization. It has established extensive and in-depth cooperative relationships with many well-known enterprises around the world. This contract signing demonstrates CSSC’s open stance of deeply integrating into the global industrial chain, marks that CSSC’s layout in the global supply chain has become more balanced, modernized and internationalized, and provides strong support for building a world-class shipbuilding group with strong international competitiveness in an all-round way.

On September 19, the 2025 CSSC (China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited) Industrial and Supply Chain Conference was held in Yangzhou. Nearly 1,000 representatives, including those from relevant authorities, all member units of CSSC, and its cooperative partners, attended the conference.

Wang Guoqiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, Director and General Manager of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC), called on all parties to break the constraints of the “Party A-Party B” relationship in our cooperation! He urged that all parties should become cooperative partners who are honest and trustworthy and stand back-to-back with each other; become cooperative partners who work hand in hand with one heart and pursue innovation and growth; and become cooperative partners who maintain a clean and upright relationship and uphold integrity and positivity. He emphasized that all should make new and greater contributions to advancing the cause of building a strong country and national rejuvenation in an all-round way through Chinese-style modernization.

The conference venue was filled with a warm atmosphere and abundant business opportunities. Relevant enterprises in the industrial and supply chain signed contract orders in a concentrated manner, with a total amount exceeding 20 billion yuan, which strongly promoted the cooperation and development of material supply. At the conference, CSSC also released the annual material procurement strategy, the CSSC Procurement and Supply Chain Platform, the third-party evaluation strategy for ship material partners, and the annual material procurement strategy of Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. In addition, awards were presented to representatives of 101 selected gold medal partners.

This session of the Supply Chain Conference is the 5th Industrial and Supply Chain Conference hosted by CSSC. It covers a wider range of projects and features stronger precision in matching, opening up new channels for achieving mutual benefit and win-win results.
