On November 6, the Concentrated Contract Signing Ceremony for International Procurement Projects of the CSSC (China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited)Delegation at the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center.
At the contract signing ceremony, 11 secondary-level management units under CSSC signed 35 projects in a concentrated manner with 24 international supply chain partners from 13 countries and regions. The products cover various types of important supporting equipment such as marine main engines, generators, communication and navigation systems, liquid cargo systems, and monitoring and alarm systems. The total contract value reaches 610 million US dollars, representing a 9% increase compared with the 7th CIIE (China International Import Expo).
CSSC is an active participant in all previous CIIEs and a firm practitioner of trade liberalization and economic globalization. It has established extensive and in-depth cooperative relationships with many well-known enterprises around the world. This contract signing demonstrates CSSC’s open stance of deeply integrating into the global industrial chain, marks that CSSC’s layout in the global supply chain has become more balanced, modernized and internationalized, and provides strong support for building a world-class shipbuilding group with strong international competitiveness in an all-round way.
